Establishing the sewage network in Atmeh camp

Due to constant shelling over Northern Syria  Many families were displaced to Atmeh camp North of Idlib on the Turkish Syrian borders.

There are more than 70000 IDPs in the camp living in difficult humanitarian conditions

Increased pollution due to sewage pits, exposed water pits and lack of adequate service facilities.

BINAA for Development in corporation with Global Communities organization implemented network project for Atmeh camp, where we started with Topographic survey for the whole camp, and prepared Geometric plans for sewage lines, inspection rooms, and wash facilities which were built in the camp.

16.000 Meters of sewage network pipes were installed

280 Toilets were installed

The Sewage network serves more than 40000 IDPs in the camp.
