New rehabilitation of the Maarzita water network covering all its inhabitants
BINAA for development started rehabilitating the water network and sewage network in Maarzita village in Idlib southern countryside.
The project, funded by world vision, ensures the expansion and maintenance of the drinking water and sewerage network, bringing the total number of beneficiaries in Maarzita village to about 6,700. The project will also supply the station with the necessary fuel and chlorine, in addition to training staff and providing operational cost including staff salaries.
Village residents used to buy unsterilized water through water trucking, as the old water network didn’t serve the whole village, also, they are digging random waste halls to dispose of waste water which negatively affect the residents of Maarzita.
